1. Editorial independence
All PRIME scores, rankings, tiers, and intelligence findings are determined solely by the PTM editorial team using the PRIME methodology. No commercial relationship, sponsorship, or advertising arrangement influences editorial decisions.
2. The editorial firewall
"Sponsors purchase visibility. Never findings."
Commercial profiles, sponsorship packages, and advertising relationships have no influence on PRIME scores, ranks, tiers, eligibility decisions, or roster composition. The separation between commercial activity and editorial findings is enforced structurally, not only as policy. Our commercial arrangements are described in the Sponsorship and Advertising Policy.
3. Methodology and transparency
PRIME is a documented methodology. We publish the dimensions, weightings, tier thresholds, and eligibility gates so that readers can understand how results are produced. The methodology is proprietary, and its application to a given company is an editorial judgment.
4. Evidence standards
Claims are supported by cited evidence from public or licensed sources. Evidence is classified by authority level, for example: primary official, primary third-party, secondary observed, and inferred or calculated. Where evidence is limited or a judgment is made under uncertainty, we indicate this.
5. Eligibility and transparency of ineligibility
Some companies do not meet a hard eligibility gate, for example the Independence Rule for parent-owned entities. Ineligibility is surfaced transparently with the reason and its supporting evidence, rather than obscured. An ineligible company receives no PRIME score, tier, or rank.
6. Sponsored content and disclosure
Any sponsored or commercial placement is clearly and prominently labeled to distinguish it from editorial intelligence, consistent with recognized advertising disclosure standards. Sponsored content never appears within editorial intelligence panels or scoring.
7. Conflicts of interest
Editorial team members must identify and disclose conflicts of interest before working on a company. A conflict includes a financial interest in a covered company, employment or a consulting relationship with one within the previous twelve months, an immediate family relationship with an officer or director, and any personal relationship that a reasonable reader would regard as bearing on the judgment.
Disclosed conflicts are recorded. A person with a conflict does not score, rank, or determine eligibility for the company concerned, and takes no part in reviewing a correction or dispute involving it.
Commercial staff do not score, rank, or determine eligibility, and take no part in correction or dispute outcomes. Editorial compensation is not tied to commercial results. These separations are structural rather than discretionary.
Where a conflict cannot be avoided, the finding is published with the conflict disclosed alongside it.
8. Company-provided information
Information submitted by companies, including through claimed profiles, may prompt an editorial review request but cannot directly update canonical editorial intelligence. Verification remains with the editorial team.
9. Corrections
We are committed to accuracy. If you believe a factual error exists in our editorial data, please use our Corrections and Disputes process.
10. Review cadence
PRIME rankings are reviewed and published on a periodic basis, currently quarterly. Between reviews, signals and monitoring data may be updated by editors as material events occur.
11. Contact
For editorial questions, contact legal@securitytechx.com. To report a factual error or dispute a finding, use the Corrections and Disputes process rather than this address.
